Itinerary
Your adventure begins as you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a Nabanji Safaris guide greets you and transfers you to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may rest and refresh at the lodge or explore a little of the bustling town. Dinner and overnight in Arusha prepare you for the safari journey ahead.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem tucked into the Rift Valley. Here, you’ll experience varied landscapes—woodland, savannah, and lake shore—all alive with wildlife. Look out for the famous tree-climbing lions, herds of elephants, giraffes, hippos, and large flocks of flamingos along the alkaline lake. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the park’s incredible diversity of species. Later, settle into your lodge near the park.
Your safari continues with a journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park. As you cross the Ngorongoro Highlands, the plains unfold before you in dramatic style. Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti—home to vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, big cats like lions and cheetahs, and countless other species. Depending on the season, you may even witness the Great Migration, one of the most spectacular wildlife events on Earth. Evenings are spent in a lodge or tented camp deep in the Serengeti, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
This morning, enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater floor offers one of the best chances to see the “Big Five” in a single day—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—alongside a dazzling array of other wildlife. After an unforgettable safari day, continue to your lodge near the crater for dinner and overnight.
